ASIA PACIFIC SPORTS INTERNATIONAL (APSI) is established to bring quality sport education programs to help build a strong sport economy, sport industry and sport culture for Malaysia for Malaysian.
We are aware that careers in competitive sport last between 10 to 20 years at the very most. However, some even have shorter life-span due to injury, lost of form or other reasons. Furthermore, many of them have given their best, sacrifice their time and other interests to represent the country thus putting aside pursuing other rewarding careers during their early sporting career.
At APSI, we want to help preparing these athletes, coaches, officials, trainers for a 2nd Career after their Competitive and Competition days for career in the sports and sports related industry..
A LEADER IN SPORT EDUCATION
In 2003, an internationally recognised programmes that was launched in Singapore, specifically designed and customized for the sports industry. Since then, over 3,500 participants from 15 countries have graduated from these programmes. In 2022, we established our Centre of Excellence (COE) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to promote further our programmes to the sports industry in Malaysia, as well as in the region. The role of APSI is to enhance the quality of sports through educational programmes for athletes, coaches, officials, administrators and sport management teams, fostering a stronger sports culture and sports economy within the industry. These programmes will continue to provide participants with opportunities for second careers in the sports industry. In our latest collaboration with the #1 university in Malaysia, University of Malaya (UM) and University of Malaya Centre for Continuity Education (UMCCed), we believe that our programmes will set higher standards and accredited as a Leader in Sport Education.
MISSION
To provide sport education and sport related programmes both academic and technical aspects to equip our athletes, coaches, trainers, administrators and anyone who has passion in sports and wants to pursue a career in the industry with skills and mind set to thrive and to make the sport fraternity as more professional environment through continuous lifelong learning.
APSI long-term plans is to establish Malaysia as its base for its Centre of Excellence (COE) for its programmes in: (1) Sport Education, (2) Sport Coaching, and (3) Sport Science.

GOALS
The sport industry goes beyond just competitions and training. Careers option in the fraternity is very wide, ranging from sport business to sport management, sport marketing, sport tourism, sport retails, sport administration, sport coaching, sport psychology, sport science, among others.
We want to reach out to those currently in the industry (athletes, coaches, trainers, trainers, administrators, etc.), the community and everyone who have passion in sports to develop, train, prepare them for the sport industry, and turn it into a sport economy.
